Queer Global is a vibrant, inclusive project dedicated to documenting the experiences of LGBTQ+ people across the world, with a particular focus on London’s Queer Global Majority and migrant communities.
We celebrate diversity, build understanding, and create safe spaces - both online and offline - where queer individuals can connect, share experiences, and support one another.
We are capturing 100 personal stories through oral history interviews, exploring migration, belonging, identity, and creativity.
These narratives inform artistic and historical outputs, including exhibitions, podcasts, and a documentary, amplifying voices that are often underrepresented and creating spaces where people feel seen and heard.
oral histories recorded with LGBTQ+ Londoners from global majority backgrounds
views across social media platforms building bridges and increasing understanding
more people, from wider and more diverse backgrounds, engaging with LGBTQ+ heritage
reporting greater confidence, a stronger connection to their cultural heritage and improved wellbeing
If you are part of London's LGBTQ+ community and want your experience recorded for the archive, exhibition and documentary, we would love to hear from you. Interviews take around an hour.

This project was made possible with The National Lottery Heritage Fund, with thanks to National Lottery players.
